Toffee 1850 Wire Brushed Hardwood Flooring 

Toffee 1850 circular sawn is one of our two pass finishes and a medium-dark tone in our 1850 collection. Saw marks are put into this floor by hand, which gives stunning character, with no two boards the same. This process involves the boards being stained black and then sanded off, it is then finished with our toffee stain. The black stain makes those saw marks pop, and highlighting the grain and bevels throughout. This is a great choice if you are looking to add some warmth and character to your space. This floor is a show stopper and continues to be a Client favourite. T  It's durability makes this floor a winner, its saw marks combined with the Wire Brushed finish make it an ideal floor for high traffic areas with pets and kids. 

Live Sawn is a specialty cut of wood we do which enables us to provide our clients with a very wide and unique hardwood floor.  It is sawn using the Old World European method and incorporates all aspects of the log's character.  It is very rustic with large knots, and varying grain patterns including rift sawn and quarter sawn.  A large majority of the grain is quarter sawn giving it incredible stability which is the reason we can offer it up to 10" wide.  A 7" Live Sawn board will shrink and expand roughly as much as a 4" plain sawn board making this floor the perfect option for a cottage.  For wide planks we recommend a nail and bead glue installation. The live sawn is a perfect floor for dogs. The toffee 1850 stain is exactly the shade of our toffee stain, the difference however is that there is a black two pass stain on it. The toffee 1850 stain is a great option to give off a rustic look.  The Wire Brushed finish combined with the saw marks makes this a very durable and rustic floor.
