Ash Gran Marnier
The Gran Marnier stain is a warm two-pass stain in our 1850 collection. This process involves staining the floors black first and then sanded off, allowing black to hug to the bevels and the grain throughout. The rich warm, gran marnier stain is applied next which creates a unique warm looking floor. We love this process as it highlights the board widths and character, and also gives the floor an "aged" feel. This is a great option if you are looking to add character to your space and give it some old world charm.
Ash is a species of wood that has a prominent grain with close similarities to hickory and red oak. The Gran Marnier stain is a dark yet warm finish that works well when paired with other shades of brown. It is a beautiful stain that goes very nicely with lighter tones which can contrast and balance it well. The pricing of our ash flooring is excellent and we are saving trees from being destroyed by the Emerald Ash Borer making it a Green alternative
