Hickory Storm 1850 Hardwood Flooring

Hickory Storm 1850 is a mid to dark tone floor with some rustic elements. This stain is one of our two-pass finishes, which involves a two-part staining process. The boards are stained black and then sanded off; leaving black hugging the bevels, grain, and uniquely throughout the boards. Our storm stain is applied giving the floor a medium grey tone with subtle brown undertones throughout. This stain gives a beautiful rustic look with the ability to work in a modern setting.

Hickory is the hardest North American wood we offer.  Its durability and unique grain pattern make it a very popular specie of wood for us.  The grain pattern is right between maple and oak making it a perfect compromise for people who want the timeless charm of oak but prefer something not quite as busy.
